Hackleberry (SOLD) Hackleberry is the last chocolate gelding we have from Havenwood’s Northern Drifter. His mother, Snow Dancer, is a daughter of Tim’s Choco and she was our demonstrator for a few years before she became a mom. We’ve started many members of Hack’s family under saddle and have always found them to be easy going, willing and nicely gaited. Currently Hack stands at 15hh and I think he’ll mature to be about 15.1hh or a little more. Hack has been started under saddle and is working on the roads and trails. He’s got an amazing ground-covering stride.
Nellie Bly Nellie Bly is a bay 3 y.o. mare and she’s going to mature to be over 15hh. Calm, quiet and laid back are all characteristics that Nellie has. If she were to be a broodmare and bred to a chocolate stallion, it is possible she could have a red chocolate coloured baby! She’s under saddle now and out on the trails.
Pepper Pepper is an almost pure black filly with just the smallest bit of white on one heel. When she had only one week of under saddle training she has heading out on the trails with a willing attitude. Pepper goes everywhere you point her and she’s very nicely gaited. With Ben Jordan as one grandfather and Clemon’s Tim as another she has wonderful bloodlines and would make a great broodmare or riding horse.
