A Letter From a Rockie Mountain Horse Owner

June 2, 1997

Dear Sir or Madam,

I have recently had the good fortune to discover the "perfect" gaited horse for a person having severe osteo arthritis and fibromyalgia! This is "Sally" (a pretty little Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse) who I have purchased from Glen Wood in Fenelon Falls, and who was kind enough to provide your association's name. Although I have owned Quarter Horses for many years, I have had to discontinue my riding since I have so many problems with my bones and muscles even if only out for half an hour. However, I have ridden Sally twice for over half an hour each time with no adverse effect due to the very smooth ride. Sally hustles right along, but I have no discomfort during or after the ride.

Sincerely

Carol Matthew
